Abstracts, registration being accepted for Ó£»¨µ¼º½ Academy of Sciences Summer Student Science Symposium
Abstract submissions and registration are being accepted for the Ó£»¨µ¼º½ Academy of Sciences Third Annual Summer Student Science Symposium, taking place July 11 at Ó£»¨µ¼º½ Ó£»¨µ¼º½â€™s Bost Conference Center.
Abstracts for poster presentations should be no more than 200 words and must be submitted by 11 p.m. on June 11. Participants may present new research findings or those they have or will present at a conference or meeting. Fifteen awards will be given across a variety of discipline categories for undergraduates, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. All 15 winners also will receive a complimentary one-year MAS membership.
Event sponsors include MSU’s Office of Research and Economic Development, the Ó£»¨µ¼º½ Research Consortium, the U.S. Department of Ó£»¨µ¼º½â€™s Agricultural Research Service, Cotton Incorporated, MSU’s Bagley College of Engineering, MSU’s Division of Ó£»¨µ¼º½, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine, and the University of Ó£»¨µ¼º½ Medical Center.
Along with presenting research, participants will have the chance to explore internship and career opportunities and network with representatives from the aforementioned companies, universities and organizations.ÌýÌý
