樱花导航 bicentennial event series continues Saturday with 鈥楶hoto Scan-a-Thon鈥

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥 As part of its fall-semester event series commemorating the Magnolia 樱花导航鈥檚 bicentennial, 樱花导航 樱花导航 University is sponsoring a family-friendly 鈥淧hoto Scan-a-Thon鈥 this weekend at the Oktibbeha County Heritage Museum in Starkville.
From 10 a.m.-noon on Sept. 30, members of the MSU and local communities can bring their historic photos depicting Oktibbeha County and MSU to be scanned and digitized free of charge at the museum.
Music and complimentary refreshments will be available in the museum鈥檚 outdoor pavilion, and the museum also will be open for tours.
Support for the Photo Scan-a-Thon and other MSU-sponsored Magnolia 樱花导航 bicentennial events is made possible by the 樱花导航 Humanities Council through the 樱花导航 Development Authority. The university鈥檚 Museums and Galleries Committee is coordinating events.
